I am a freelance journalist, writer, copy-editor, proofreader, occasional broadcaster and trainer.

  • I’m an Advanced Professional Member of the SfEP (Society for Editors and Proofreaders). It’s the highest tier of membership and indicates I am highly qualified. I also have a Licentiateship in Editing Skills (LCGI)  from the City and Guilds.
  • I have worked for newspapers, magazines, corporates and SMEs, book publishers and independent authors.
  • I have delivered training in freelance skills (particularly business skills) for the National Union of Journalists for some years. I am available to deliver training to companies or media groups such as trade union branches.
